Michael Uriarte
Movement and Balance Care
Dr. Michael Uriarte has been helping patients improve their health and quality of life through chiropractic care since 1994. A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Mike combines traditional chiropractic care with movement-based rehabilitation and functional neurology principles to help patients move better, feel better, and remain active.
In 1997, Dr. Mike developed the MyoKinesthetic System (MYK), a movement-based assessment and treatment approach that has been taught to healthcare professionals throughout the United States and internationally. Over the years, he has instructed Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Massage Therapists, Athletic Trainers, and other rehabilitation professionals through continuing education seminars and advanced training programs.
Dr. Mike also serves as an adjunct instructor with the University of Idaho, teaching within their graduate Athletic Training programs.
Today, his focus is helping active adults and seniors improve mobility, balance, function, and overall quality of life through personalized in-home care. Whether addressing pain, movement limitations, balance concerns, or age-related changes, Dr. Mike’s goal is to help patients stay active and continue doing the things they enjoy most.
Why I Created This Practice
My goal has always been simple: help people stay active, independent, and able to enjoy the activities they love.
After more than 30 years in practice and teaching thousands of healthcare professionals across the country, I wanted to create a practice that allows me to spend more time with each patient. By providing personalized, in-home care, I can focus on understanding how your body moves, identifying what's contributing to your symptoms, and creating a treatment plan that's designed specifically for you.
My Philosophy of Care
I believe the best care starts with listening.
Rather than focusing only on where it hurts, I take the time to understand your goals, evaluate your posture and movement, and identify the factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. Every treatment is personalized because every person moves differently.
My mission is to help you move with greater confidence so you can continue living an active, independent life.
Let's Get Started
We don't just ask, "Where does it hurt?" We ask, "Why does it hurt?"
Whether you're dealing with pain, stiffness, changes in balance, or simply want to keep moving well as you age, I'd be honored to help.
Schedule your evaluation online or contact me with any questions. Together, we'll determine the best path to help you stay active, independent, and doing the things you love.
